Senior Marketing Manager - Digital Engagement, Mountain Dew (Purchase, NY, USA)

As digital is constantly evolving, we're looking for a digital marketer who will bring strong, energetic mindset into a role where you will be able to showcase strategic, innovative thinking and executional excellence for Mountain Dew and AMP Energy brands. Mountain Dew is one of the fastest growing CSD brand but isn't just a beverage brand but a lifestyle brand that is constantly evolving on how it looks to engages with consumers.With AMP Energy you will have an opportunity to work in one of the most dynamic and fastest growing beverage categories where digital is the center of the consumer's lifestyle.

As an integral part of the core team, you will be responsible for providing thought leadership and development of digital strategy into actionable executionable plans across brand marketing campaigns, new product launches and lifestyle platforms such as music, video games and action sports.As part of the day to day responsibilities you will lead the day-to-day activation across website, social, content partnerships and mobile platforms.You will be charged to lead all the digital efforts across a cross-functional team to build brand equity and drive consumer engagement and ultimately drive the business.



  • Develop new models of digital consumer engagement in partnership with specific brand teams that move the need on brand health and volume metrics

  • Act as the day to day digital expert embedded in specific brand teams making sure that digital culture, behavior and needs are always accounted for

  • Provide strategic, creative and technical oversight of all digital efforts concerning the specific brand with support of other members of the consumer engagement team

  • Manage digital agency relationships for the brand teams and serve as an internal trusted advisor and a liaison between the digital agencies and the specific brand team

  • Partner with other groups in the Consumer Engagement department (Sports, Multicultural, Media etc) to develop best in class integrated marketing solutions

  • Oversee the execution of targeted digital marketing programs to build awareness, create demand, and generate leads for products, services, and solutions globally.

  • Educates and inspires internal stakeholders as the subject matter expert in online, digital and interactive marketing strategies and techniques

  • Strategic, analytical thinker who can solve problems creatively and leverage our spend/partner relationships for maximum impact. Ability to think broadly and "outside the box" about digital opportunities and execution - including new partner opportunities and app development.




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of 8 years prior Marketing experience (if undergraduate degree only) OR 5 years (if advanced degree)

  • Progressive digital experience required

  • Deep understanding/ knowledge of effective digital strategies, tactics and proven experience managing not only a content-focused brand site, but also other digital experiences

  • Experience in leading several complex, multi-faceted marketing campaigns and their respective creative teams at once.

  • The candidate must be immersed in digital culture, familiar emerging technologies and comfortable with measurement frameworks, with ability to provide a roadmap for constant evolution

  • Provide strategic thinking but also the ability to influence and sell strategy across cross functional team

  • Candidate should possess very strong communication skills and be confident in leading cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or Advanced Degree

  • The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, environment that is constantly evolving

  • Strong project management skills across multiple projects and leading strategy and execution process

  • Ability to thrive under pressure, be diplomatic yet confident in interactions, self-motivated and results-oriented
